Many of us are getting anxious under quarantine, and we know it's important to take care of our mind as well as our body.
.
Here is a short meditation as guided by our health expert Sharon Ghanime! Instructions are suitable for experienced and non-experienced practitioners alike. No need to watch the video, just close your eyes and listen to be guided.
.
If you are new to meditation then start out with a few minutes; week after week increase the duration as you gradually train the mind to still and sit for a longer duration (use a timer! Sharon personally logs her meditation through an app called 'Calm'). It is recommended that we meditate daily and ideally in the morning to set the tone for the entire day. The key is to build a routine and discipline yourself around it.

Meditation helps us control our emotions, cultivate compassion, become patient, de-stress, increase awareness and get rid of anxieties. Keep practicing and enjoy the wonderful rewards of mindful meditation
