Homemade Matcha Latte

Enjoy a hot or iced Matcha Latte at home with this quick and simple recipe! Creamy, refreshing, and a great source of antioxidants, this homemade matcha latte recipe requires only 3 ingredients and is better (and cheaper) than the coffee shop's!

You don’t need any fancy barista skills or equipment, just a bowl, mini sifter, and a milk frother (or bamboo whisk)!


  • 1-1.5 Teaspoons Matcha Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Hot Water
  • 3/4 Cup Hot Milk (Dairy or Plant-Based)
  • 1-2 tsp. Honey (or sweetener of choice)


1 - SIFT the Matcha powder into a bowl or large mug

2 - ADD hot water & whisk briskly until no lumps remain and a paste is formed

3 - ADD milk (and optional sweetener), and combine with a whisk or milk frother

4 - SERVE immediately and enjoy!

(For iced Matcha lattes, add ice or refrigerate)
