Winter Spices Tumeric Latte By Tania Koujou

Turmeric is one of the top 10 anti-inflammatory foods.
Inflammation is the root cause of diseases and is responsible of the most common current diseases, including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer and digestive disorders.
We need anti-inflammatory food to tame it down and to keep our immune system and organs working optimally.
 
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1/4 tsp Shaman Turmeric mix 
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp honey
Instructions:
  • In a pot, you mix the milk, turmeric and almond butter with a spoon until everything is dissolved. Ideally, and for a smoother silkier version, blend in an electric blender until no yellow particles remain.

  • Move the pot to a low to medium heat. Once it boils, lower the heat and let it simmer for 2 min.

 Pour in a mug and add the honey off-heat. Enjoy!
